The Chophouse at Woodfield Manor Identified as Best Steakhouse in the Poconos
Swiftwater, Pa (May 26, 2009) – The Chophouse at Woodfield Manor was identified as an award winning restaurant during Pocono Restaurant Week 2009.
Votes were collected earlier in May. The Chophouse at Woodfield Manor won in three categories including:
Best Restaurant Atmosphere, Best Prime Rib, and Best Steak in the Poconos
This is a repeat performance for the Chophouse at Woodfield Manor. In its first year of operation, the restaurant won for Best Chop and Best Server. The restaurant opened its doors in February of 2008.
“I want to thank our loyal customers for choosing the Chophouse as Best Steak in the Poconos. Our menu also boasts ostrich, elk, and wild boar. We’d like to add most creative menu and best fine dining restaurant to our distinction for next year,” said Restaurateur Tina Dowd.
The distinct menu at the Chophouse offers an extensive wine collection, impeccable service, and a cozy, yet chic atmosphere that makes the perfect place to enjoy dinner, hold small business meetings, or impress a first date. As you are ushered into the dining room, you are surrounded by warmth and elegance. Warm, rich oak woods, beautiful tapestry, a flickering fireplace and perfect lighting set the scene for a memorable evening, offering the feel of an historic chateau.
“While I can take partial credit for atmosphere, Chef’s Juan DeLeon, and Bradley Kreider deserve the recognition and praise for Best Steak and Best Prime Rib. While the winning dishes are exceptional, every dish has proven to be mouthwatering,” added Dowd. “The recognition inspires us to do even better,” stated DeLeon.
The Chophouse at Woodfield Manor hours of operation are as follows: Monday-Saturday from 4pm-11pm and on Sunday from 1pm-8pm.
